Tyre Insurance is designed to protect you against the unexpected cost of eligible tyre damage. If an insured tyre suffers accidental or malicious damage, the policy can contribute towards its repair or replacement, subject to the terms and limits of your cover.

Even carefully maintained tyres can be damaged unexpectedly by hazards such as potholes and road debris. Tyre Insurance provides additional financial protection against eligible unexpected damage.

The policy provides cover for eligible accidental and malicious damage to your tyres, subject to the full terms, conditions and exclusions of your policy.

Where possible and appropriate, the tyre may be repaired. If it cannot be repaired and the claim is covered, the policy can contribute towards a replacement tyre, up to the applicable claim limit.

The policy provides for up to 4 eligible claims per year, subject to the terms and conditions of your chosen cover.

There is no excess to pay for an eligible Tyre Insurance claim.

Tyres with less than 2mm of tread depth are not covered. General wear and tear is also excluded.

Eligible malicious damage is covered. You will need to report the incident and obtain a valid crime reference number.

You can submit a claim through the GardX Assure Customer Care Portal, allowing you to provide the required information and track the progress of your claim.

Alternative claims methods can also be made available by telephone, email or post, in accordance with your policy documentation.

GardX Assure provides access to a nationwide repair network or preferred tyre centre. Please follow the claims process before arranging work to ensure the repair or replacement is authorised in accordance with your policy.
